General characteristics of abrasive mesh materials.

Manufactured by ZAPAN company products are mainly used for grinding joints and gypsum plasters as well as acrylic surfaces. It has found application in many technological operations such us cleaning, polishing, abrasion of sharp edges, removal of old protective layer. Meeting the needs of the market, ZAPAN launched the production of belts and abrasive discs.

Main advantage of abrasive mesh is that when grinding soft surfaces (such as gypsum, wood, soft metals) mesh doesn’t clog. Claping out the excess of material and dust, mesh is suitable for further work, maintaining a longer service life.

Abrasive mesh materials have a layer structure, consisting of base – cotton-acrylic grid, bond and covering matrix in the form of various abrasive powder granulations.
